In my position, I am fortunate to work with Young Leaders in Carroll, Stephenson and our surrounding county Farm Bureaus. These Young Leaders are passionate about the agriculture community and teaching others about the industry. Young Leaders in Carroll, Stephenson and Jo Daviess County have joined together to host Our Farm to Your Table an evening at Stone Creek Angus on Tuesday, June 16th from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Stone Creek Angus, 7036 W Babbs Grove Road Freeport, IL. This evening will include a locally sourced brisket, presentations from Young Leaders about their role within the agriculture industry and will conclude with dessert and a farm tour. Carroll County Farm Bureau Members Are Invited: “Policy what, why and what now” program. This program will take place at on Thursday, June 18th from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the Carroll County Farm Bureau Building. The special guest for this evening is Allie Speer, Associate Director Policy Development and Advocacy with Illinois Farm Bureau. We will talk about the policy resolution program process and how members can be involved. Additionally, we will highlight the Carroll County Farm Bureau local policies. This event is exclusive to Farm Bureau members in good standing. Dinner will be provided. Reservations are required. Fair Books and Tickets Available: The Stephenson County Farm Bureau is excited to share we have 2026 Stephenson County Fair Books. In addition to fair books, we will also be offering Stephenson County Farm Bureau members discounted season tickets again this year. Stephenson County Farm Bureau members can purchase season tickets at a discounted price of $25/per pass limit of two passes per membership, payable with check or cash. Stephenson County Farm Bureau membership must be in good standing through August 31, 2026. These will be available for purchase on June 1st, 2026.
