Beef banquet scheduled for March 9

The annual Stephenson County Beef Association Banquet will be held on Thursday March 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Farm Bureau. The event is open to the public and begins with the delicious prime rib dinner followed by the program, with this year's featured speaker being agricultural advocate Kim Bremmer from Greenwood WI. "Farm-to-Farm 5K/Fun Run" planned for April 1

The SCFB Young Leaders are pleased to announce the inaugural "Farm-to-Farm 5K/Fun Run" on Saturday April 1, running from Kent Farms to Mau Farms in the Winslow area. This event promises to be a fun time for the whole family, with proceeds benefitting the Agriculture-in-the-Classroom program in Stephenson County. Ag Awareness Lunch & Learn Series

SCFB is hosting an Ag Awareness Lunch & Learn Series on Tuesdays in March at the Farm Bureau, designed to help the non-farm public get an inside look and a better understanding of the scope and significance of agriculture in Stephenson County. Prep/Freeze/Cook program planned for March 14

The Conservation & Agricultural Partners (CAP) Foundation is hosting another Prep/Freeze/Cook program on Tuesday March 14, with proceeds benefitting the Agriculture-in-the-Classroom program in Stephenson County. Click here to see program information and the registration form.

Rural Nurse Practitioner Scholarships
