Tentative 2015 trip lineup

Click here to see the tentative lineup of SCFB trips for 2015 - the Shipshewana trip is already 2/3 full as of 8/15 and only 6 seats remain for the Door County trip, so don't delay in signing up!

Classic Tractor Drive IV cancelled due to low signup

Our Classic Tractor Drive scheduled for Saturday August 23, 2014 is unfortunately being cancelled due to low registration numbers - we hope to possibly try again next summer with a different date to see if adequate interest can be generated. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Join us for AITC Bike Ride!

Stephenson County Farm Bureau and neighboring county Farm Bureaus are pleased to be hosting the IAA Foundation Agriculture-in-the-Classroom Bike Ride on September 1-3. This major fundraiser event will offer four great routes for riders through a 5-county area, and there are opportunities for non-bikers to volunteer in various capacities. Ireland/Scotland Trip Planned for 2015

Ron Bremmer named Master Farmer

Pearl City farmer Ron Bremmer has been named one of the four Master Farmers for 2014 by Prairie Farmer Magazine, one of the most prestigious awards presented in the farming community in Illinois. Ron farms in partnership with his wife Karen and their sons Chad (Deb) and Ross (Melanie) and their families, with daughter Carmen employed in an agribusiness career. Ron was nominated by SCFB manager Bruce Johnson and joins several other local winners including Doug Scheider (2013), Doug & Tom Block (2009), Dennis Endress (1995), I.
